What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is an established aesthetic procedure that visibly improves the quality of the skin through controlled exfoliation of the surface layer. This accelerates cell renewal and leads to a smoother texture, an even complexion and the reduction of pigment spots, fine lines and acne imperfections. The type of peel is selected individually according to the condition and needs of the skin.

BioRePeel® — renewal without peeling

BioRePeel is an innovative two-phase peel that combines acids such as trichloroacetic (TCA), salicylic and phytic acid and retinoids with natural vitamins and amino acids. It is suitable for tired skin, mild scars, pigmentation or loss of radiance. A major advantage is that it does not cause heavy peeling, while results are noticeable after the very first treatment.

BioRePeel + microneedling

Combined with microneedling, the effect is enhanced. The microchannels in the skin facilitate the deep penetration of the active ingredients and boost collagen stimulation. The combination is particularly suitable for more mature skin, post-inflammatory marks and a need for deeper recovery.

Cosmelan® — an expert solution for pigmentation

Cosmelan is a medical depigmenting peel created for stubborn spots from hormonal changes, the sun or inflammation. The active ingredients (kojic, azelaic and other acids) lighten dark spots and regulate melanin production. It is suitable for melasma, chloasma, acne marks and uneven pigmentation. After the procedure you receive an individual home-care protocol that maintains and reinforces the effect.

Types of peels we offer

According to the condition and needs of the skin, we select the most suitable peel from established brands:

  • BioRePeel — a two-phase peel without heavy peeling, for renewal and radiance
  • Mesoestetic (Cosmelan® and depigmenting peels) — for melasma and stubborn pigmentation
  • PRX-T33 — a biorevitalising peel without peeling, for firming and radiance
  • Salicylic peel — for oily and acne-prone skin, regulates sebum
  • Glycolic and mandelic peel — gentle exfoliation for smooth and fresh skin

At consultation we assess which peel and which regimen are most suitable for you.

How is the procedure performed?

The session begins with cleansing and preparing the skin. The chosen peel is then applied and left to act for the appropriate time according to its type. If necessary, a neutralising product is applied, and at the end the skin is soothed and protected.

How many treatments are needed?

Usually between three and six treatments are recommended at intervals of three to four weeks — the number depends on the condition of the skin, the desired result and the product. With Cosmelan, one main treatment with subsequent maintenance is sufficient.

Is there any downtime?

With BioRePeel there is almost no downtime — the skin may be slightly pink, but this passes quickly. With Cosmelan, moderate peeling and redness are possible during the first week, for which we give clear home-care instructions.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the procedure painful?
No. A slight tingling or warmth is possible on application, which passes quickly after neutralisation.
Can it be used for acne?
Yes — BioRePeel is an excellent choice for acne and oily skin. It helps regulate sebum and reduces inflammatory lesions.
When are the results visible?
With BioRePeel the skin looks fresher after the very first treatment, and with each subsequent session the result becomes more visible. With Cosmelan, lightening happens gradually over the following weeks.
Is there any recovery period?
With superficial peels there is usually no downtime — mild redness or fine peeling is possible over the following days. Good hydration and sun protection are recommended for optimal results.

The procedure is performed under strict medical supervision by a qualified physician, in accordance with established medical protocols.
