Smoothing the frown line between the brows with Botox

What is the frown line?

The frown line is the vertical line (or two parallel lines) between the brows, in the area known as the glabella. It forms from repeated frowning and, over time, remains visible even at rest, giving a tired, stern or angry expression. Botulinum toxin is among the most effective ways to smooth this area and freshen the gaze.

What is Botox?

Botox is an FDA-approved product that temporarily relaxes the muscles that form wrinkles. This prevents the lines from deepening and leaves the skin looking smoother. It is used for both aesthetic and medical indications. We work with certified products from leading brands — Botox®, Azzalure® / Alluzience® and Bocouture®, selected according to individual needs.

How is the procedure performed?

The procedure is quick and minimally invasive. After disinfection, we place small doses of botulinum toxin at precisely defined points in the glabella area. The effect begins to be felt after 3–4 days, and the full result is visible within 14 days. The procedure itself takes about 10 minutes and you can return to your daily routine immediately.

What to expect after the procedure?

  • Mild redness, swelling or bruising is possible and subsides quickly
  • Do not touch or massage the area for the first 24 hours
  • Avoid physical exertion, sauna, sun and tanning beds for the first 24 hours
  • Avoid alcohol and blood thinners for at least 24 hours before and after the procedure

How long does the effect last?

Usually between 3 and 6 months. After that, a repeat application is recommended to maintain the result.

When it is not suitable

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Muscular or neurological conditions (e.g. myasthenia gravis)
  • Allergy to the product's ingredients
  • Active infections or autoimmune conditions
