What are marionette lines?
Marionette lines are the vertical folds that run from the corners of the mouth down toward the chin. With age, due to volume loss and skin laxity, they deepen and can give the face a tired or downturned appearance.
With carefully placed hyaluronic filler, we smooth these lines, restore volume, and soften the expression. The treatment also visually lifts the corners of the mouth, creating a more cheerful and approachable look — hence the name "Happy Face".
Who is the treatment suitable for?
It is suitable for women and men over 25 whose lower face has begun to lose firmness, with pronounced lines forming around the mouth. It can be a standalone treatment or part of a broader anti-aging program. It is especially useful for dry, thin skin, where lines tend to appear earlier.

How does the treatment work?
After a thorough consultation, the area is cleansed and numbed. The filler is placed with a fine needle or cannula around the mouth and chin. The treatment takes around 20–30 minutes and is well tolerated by patients. Recovery is minimal — mild redness or swelling may occur, resolving within 1–2 days.
What results can you expect, and when?
The effect is visible immediately after the treatment, but the final results are best assessed after about 7–10 days. Features appear softer, and the expression looks more rested and youthful. For a lasting effect, we recommend a maintenance treatment once a year, and the area can be combined with skin boosters or mesotherapy for improved skin quality if desired.
