Aesthetic lip enhancement — Dr Narin Adem

What is the treatment?

The lips are central to facial expression, and even a small change is noticeable. That is why we approach lip enhancement with hyaluronic filler delicately — refining shape and volume so the result looks natural and harmonious, enhancing your beauty without changing it.

How is the treatment performed?

The treatment is quick and comfortable. We begin with a numbing cream, then place the filler precisely in the previously agreed areas, and finish by cooling the lips to limit swelling.

The entire process takes about 30 minutes and requires no downtime — you return to your daily routine right away. Slight swelling or minor bruising may occur and typically fades within a few days.

What is the effect?

  • Increased volume — natural or more noticeable
  • Correction of asymmetries
  • A more defined lip contour
  • Smoothing of fine lines around the mouth

The change is visible immediately, and the final result settles within 10–14 days. The effect typically lasts 12 to 18 months.

Which fillers do we use?

We work exclusively with certified products of proven tolerability that provide a soft, natural result:

  • Restylane Kysse / Refyne · Teoxane RHA 2 · Juvederm Volift — soft, natural volume
  • Teoxane RHA Kiss Volume — for fuller volume and smooth lip shaping
  • Teoxane RHA 3 · Juvederm Smile — a more defined contour

Is the treatment right for you?

If you would like your lips to look more harmonious yet still natural, this treatment is most likely right for you. We always begin with a consultation where we discuss the desired effect, skin type, and general health, so we can assess together whether it is suitable.

After the treatment

Mild swelling and sensitivity may occur during the first 24–48 hours, sometimes accompanied by small bruises — this is a normal reaction that resolves on its own. During this period, avoid massaging the lips and avoid exercise, sauna, tanning beds, and alcohol for at least 24–48 hours so recovery can proceed calmly and smoothly.

Contraindications

  • Active herpes
  • Inflammation or infection in the area
  • Lidocaine allergy
  • Autoimmune conditions or blood clotting disorders
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Tendency toward keloid scarring
  • Unrealistic expectations about the result
