Treatment of excessive sweating
Effective, long-lasting control of excessive sweating in the underarms, palms and soles.
What is hyperhidrosis?
Excessive sweating, known as hyperhidrosis, is a condition in which the sweat glands are overactive and produce more sweat than is needed for the body's normal thermoregulation — often even at rest or at a moderate temperature. This can affect daily life and self-confidence, but today there is an effective and discreet solution that reliably controls the symptoms. We use established botulinum toxin brands — Botox®, Azzalure® / Alluzience® and Bocouture®.
How does botulinum toxin work?
The toxin blocks the signals from the nerves to the sweat glands and thus temporarily stops the excessive production of sweat in the treated area. The effect is local and does not disturb the body's normal thermoregulation.
How is the procedure performed?
First we apply a local anaesthetic cream for maximum comfort. After disinfection, we place the toxin with a fine needle into the areas of increased sweating. The procedure takes about 20–30 minutes and recovery is immediate — you return to your daily routine the same day.
In which areas is it applied?
- Underarms
- Palms of the hands
- Soles of the feet
When are the results seen?
As early as the first week, a significant reduction in sweating is observed, with the full effect within 14 days of the procedure. The result usually lasts between 6 and 8 months, after which the treatment can be repeated — with regular maintenance the intervals even lengthen.
