Masseter Botox for a finer V-line of the face

What is masseter Botox?

When the masticatory (masseter) muscle is enlarged, the lower face looks wider and more "square". Botox placed in the masseter reduces its activity and volume, so the jaw visually narrows and the shape of the face becomes finer and more elegant — the effect known as the "V-line". Beyond the aesthetics, the method also relieves the tension of bruxism. In the clinic we use leading brands — Botox®, Azzalure® / Alluzience® and Bocouture®.

Who is it suitable for?

  • Women and men with a wider jawline
  • People who clench or grind their teeth — with jaw pain, headaches and tension
  • Patients seeking a softer, more harmonious facial shape

How is the procedure performed?

First, a numbing cream is applied. We then place Botox with a fine needle at several points in the masseter. The procedure takes about 20 minutes and is comfortable. The first results are visible after 1–2 weeks, with the full effect within about a month.

What to expect?

  • Relaxation of the muscle — a finer, more defined jawline
  • Reduced pain and tension from teeth clenching and grinding
  • A more harmonious facial shape, without surgery and with fast recovery

How long does the effect last?

Up to 6 months. To maintain the result, a repeat session after 4–6 months is recommended.

When it is not suitable

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Neuromuscular conditions (e.g. myasthenia)
  • Allergy to the ingredients
  • Active infections in the treated area
